Haven't seen Jericho yet? Here you'll find the answers to some of the most popular questions about the show itself. Q. What is Jericho? A. According to Wikipedia, Jerico is a serialized drama produced by CBS Paramount Network Television, first airing on September 20th, 2006. The show is about survival: A group of people living in the small rural town of Jericho, Kansas must not only survive, but struggle to make contact with the outside world following a nuclear attack that destroys most of America's major cities. Jericho is one of the best new series for the 2006-2007 television season, with it's intriguing story-line, interesting characters and episodes filled with suspense, action, emotional drama and heart-warming moments. While it's theme is very serious, it is certainly a family-friendly show, and the type in which you and your loved ones will discuss the issues it raises. On October 26th a web-only companion series on the CBS Website began. Called Countdown it features the story of things leading up to the attacks, and specifically, the actions and communications of Rob Hawkins. Each episode begins with the sound of morse ccode... and each episode contains a unique message giving clues about the show. Q. Who are the actors on Jericho? A. Q. What American cities were attacked according to the Jericho series? A. Here's something fun to do! Go and download GOOGLE EARTH (it's free), or update your version if you have it already (to make sure it's current). Open up the program and under "Fly to" type in "Jericho, Kansas" (without the quotes). Lots of things will come up... but down in the search results under "Web Results" there will be items specific to the show... AND, down in the "Places" section there will be a temporary place called "Jericho: All things with Jericho"... make sure it's checked and suddenly you'll see red pushpins showing where all the bombs went off (that they have figured out so far in the show). You may have to zoom out.... but click around and have fun! Washington, DC was destroyed, and NYC survived... I'll leave it to you to find out the rest! Q. Did the United States strike back in the show? A. This is relatively unknown. During one of the episodes early in the season we do see missiles being launched from somewhere local to Jericho. Q. How about other countries... Did they survive? This is also relatively unknown... but we are lead to believe that the primary attacks occurred in the United States. There is a food/supply drop that takes place in another episode, and no one can quite figure out where it came from... The outside of the packaging contains Chinese characters, and it arrives in German containers (not exactly sure I'm remembering correctly here... other Jericho Fans are free to let me know if I'm wrong). Q. What are some of the major plot points and mysteries of Jericho? A. There are many twists and turns in the show... Some have been answered, others have not... Is Hawkins a good guy or a bad guy? Who does Hawkins work for? Who is trying to find Hawkins? Why does Hawkins have a nuclear bomb buried in his shed? Where has Jake been the last 5 years? Why did he leave town in the first place? Why is Jake on a no-fly list? What is his connection to the Military? Is the American Goverment intact? Who is President? Who sent the food/supply drop, and why? What was the Chinese Newscaster saying when Jericho briefly received a lousy Satellite signal? Who was behind the EMP (electro-magnetic pulse)? Can Jericho survive a possible attack from the neighboring town? Will Jake get together with Emily or Heather? How will Eric cope with all he's lost? Will Stanley survive and keep his farm? Are Skylar's parents still alive? Are more attacks on their way? Who is behind the attacks? ...and many more!
Q. Where can I watch Season 1? A. You can watch the show on the CBS Website and you can download it from iTunes .
