JERICHO SAVED!

WE ARE NO LONGER ACCEPTING DONATIONS

Update:

Here are the basic stats:

We started running ads on May 29th, as a test, and so far we have received…

44,932 impressions
(meaning how many people saw the ads)
and
4,512 clicks from those ads
with a
10.04% success rate (which is better than we’d typically hope for in traditional advertising).

Total cost so far has been: $142.71
With our average cost-per-click being $0.03.

We are doing well with a few keywords and have taken some of your suggestions and tried them out – some are doing okay, others not-so-much. I’m careful to keep a close eye on new keywords I try because popular ones can rack up money fast and use up our current budget of $100.00 per day.

Average unique visitors to the website overall is hovering around 3,000 – which is pretty darn good in my book. But I'd I’d like to see us double that number... and Jeff and I believe we can!

Which is where all of you come in. Jeff and I (and hopefully many of you) would like to ramp up the web advertising to include banners (assuming we can afford them) and have a little leeway to try other keywords that are more generic without fear of going way over budget… but we need to build up our reserve!

We’re also certainly open to other ideas, but we don’t want this to be a choice of web ads or something else… web ads are important… though it may seem to US HERE that everyone on the internet knows, that is really far from the truth… we have barely scratched the surface.

So everyone… donate to the fund!
Jeff has been a helluva guy to take on this responsibility, and he’s done a fabulous job keeping track of all the dollars and making sure they go to the right places. We wouldn’t have had Variety and Hollywood Reporter without him!

Here’s where to donate:

Donate to Web Advertising for Jericho

Thanks!

Over 40,000 lbs.
shipped to CBS!

Why Nuts? In the season finale, the lead character, Jake (Skeet Ulrich) recounts a story his grandfather told him about a statement made by General McAuliffe during WWII. In this tale, when asked to surrender by the Germans he simply replied "Nuts" as a way of saying "We will NOT surrender - Go to Hell!"

Hey CBS Ad

Save Jericho!
On May 16th, 2007, CBS made the monumentally fatal error in judgement and cancelled what had been one of it’s best new shows for 2006-2007... Jericho.

But Jericho fans reacted...
Immediately upon cancellation, many of us decided to embark on a mission to let CBS know what we think... That they had underestimated the show’s fans... and that due only to its own decision to put the show on haitus for 2 months mid-season, to programming mistakes and a poor marketing strategy did the ratings drop.

It’s time we as the public start making ourselves heard, and letting the networks know that we are tired of the same old lazy reality show format. We want good writing, we want in-depth character development, we want shows that make us think and give us something interesting to discuss with our families.

We want Jericho BACK!
